Max Insurance & Cook Insurance make donation to RAPT Reaching All People Together.

Driving to doctor’s appointments is not always an easy task for some patients who simply do not have a means of transportation. A local non-profit, Reaching All People Together, does just that for Centerville residents on a regular basis. Thanks to a $1,000 grant from MutualAid eXchange (MAX) Insurance and its agency partner, Cook Insurance of Centerville, RAPT’s volunteer drivers will be able to provide transportation for patients to their medical appointments in the weeks ahead.

Dan Sales of Cook Insurance requested funding from MAX Insurance to help fund this important local organization.

“RAPT is a program that we see as a value to the overall health of our community,” said Sales. “With the increased costs of driving, we want to see this program continue for many years to come and this grant would be very beneficial to the program. RAPT is one of the many programs in our area striving to make our community a better place for people of all ages and we are excited to support it.”

Sales is an independent insurance agent representing MAX Insurance in his community and surrounding areas. MAX Insurance of Overland Park, Kansas, is a unique fair, faithful and socially responsible insurance enterprise. Founded on religious principles, the company’s mission is to restore wholeness to communities and individuals in need. It lives out its mission through a variety of quality, fairly-priced insurance products, outstanding personalized customer service and its non-profit Mutual Aid Ministries (MAM) program.

“MAX is more than an insurance company,” said David Wine, President and Chief Executive Office. “We truly care beyond the contract. That’s why we are excited to partner with Cook Insurance on this important project. When Dan told us about the RAPT program, we were more than happy to lend our support. It’s a wonderful service that helps many residents and makes a positive impact in their community.”
